Fake TTV Tutorial http://poetic-pixels.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=62:fake-ttv-tutorial&catid=57:post-processing With advances in camera technology being made on a daily basis it may seem strange that more and more people are picking up cameras from the 1950's to create TTV images. The definition of TTV taken from the Through The Viewfinder group on flickr is:

Through the Viewfinder photography is defined as taking a picture of any subject through the viewfinder of any camera with another camera.

The typical setup involves building a contraption the allows you to attach an old argus or kodak duaflex to a modern camera in order to shoot through it's viewfinder. If you are interested in learning more about real ttv shooting stop reading here and head on over to Russ Morris's tutorial. TTV Tutorial

What is POEtic-Pixels? http://poetic-pixels.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=47:what-is-poetic-pixels&catid=31:general&Itemid=41 First I'll start with some very basic background information for anyone who happens to stumble across this site for the first time.

As a photographer I began selling my work on Etsy in the summer of '07.  Soon after that my friend Bill (houseofsixcats.etsy.com) joined as well and started decided to start a forum thread where photographers could promote their Etsy work.  Little did he know that this one forum post would grow to well over 7,000 posts in a matter of a few months.  As more and more photographers joined the discussion it became virtually impossible to keep pace with this ever-growing thread.  Tons of great information was shared, but just as quickly as it was posted, disappeared into the 700+ page abyss that the thread had become.

The 10 newest posts with a maximum of 1 per user will automatically be included in the list.  I have included everyone that added a link to their blog.  As links to new blogs are added I will update the list.
